This summer why not join the Team London Ambassadors and welcome visitors to London's cultural hotspots. Applications are open until 22nd April
This summer Team London Ambassadors will once again be based at nine of the busiest tourist locations across London, welcoming visitors and helping to maintain London’s reputation as one of the best cities in the world. Exhibition Road will be one of the locations which the Ambassadors will return to.
The Team London Ambassadors programme has grown from strength to strength since its inception during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Ambassadors are London’s ‘friendly face’, on hand to answer questions from tourists and Londoners alike and helping to show the world the very best that London has to offer.
Why become an Ambassador?
If you love London and want to help others this is the perfect role for you. Volunteering as an Ambassador means you will be immersed in London’s culture at some of the capital’s top visitor hot spots. It will help you gain and test your knowledge of London, and is a great opportunity to practice your customer service and communications skills whilst building a great network of friends.
Ambassadors volunteer at one of nine information hubs based at the busiest tourist locations – answering queries and signposting visitors to transport routes and local attractions.
What is the commitment?
For more information on the two roles available - Team London Ambassador or Ambassador Team Leader - and how to apply please see the job descriptions below.
Who can apply?
Applications are welcomed from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability. The Ambassador programme is currently under-represented by younger volunteers and those with disabilities and so we would particularly welcome applications from these groups.
What is the deadline for applications?
