Christmas Tree 2023
Cromwell Road Entrance
For this year’s V&A Christmas tree installation commission, London-based designers Isabel+Helen celebrate the festive season through light and movement. Inspired by the twinkling night sky, the installation is formed of wind-powered turbines which rotate within their own orbits to collectively power the lights in the structure. The infinite transfer of wind energy into light sparks joy and optimism, illuminating the dark winter evenings.
