An exciting free interactive space, created especially for children aged 3–6 and their parents and carers. Inquisitive children can explore the main areas—construction, water, light and sound. While playing, they can find out about floating and sinking, shadows and reflections, and much more. Royal Albert Hall Tours
See the breath-taking auditorium and the stage that’s hosted some of the world’s biggest change-makers, history-shapers & stars. You’ll discover how the building was founded 150 years ago, the royal love story that made it happen, and how we solved one of the UK’s most enduring engineering challenges – the Royal Albert Hall echo. You might even be lucky enough to hear an artist in soundcheck!
We’ve been observing the tradition of Afternoon Tea for over 100 years, even serving royalty with a visit from Queen Elizabeth II for the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Institute. Today, we are proud to continue this ritual with a Royal Albert Hall flair. Our menu features classic finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and a whimsical mix of musically-inspired cakes as a nod to the legendary performances that take place on our stage.
This year’s eight-week celebration will feature 84 concerts, with 73 of these taking place in our spectacular auditorium. The season will feature large-scale repertoire not heard at the festival since 2019, plus the return of international orchestras including the newly-formed Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra. Promming tickets start at just £7.12 and are available on the day.
