The fantastic prize includes two tickets to both Leighton House and Sambourne House in the leafy neighbourhood of Holland Park. Combining living and studio space, the historic houses are the extraordinary legacies left by two ‘celebrities’ of the late Victorian era – Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830-1896) and Edward Linley Sambourne (1844 -1910).

Leighton, best known for his artwork Flaming June, was a celebrated painter and president of the Royal Academy of Arts, while Sambourne was a photographer and Chief Cartoonist at the satirical magazine Punch. Their creativity is reflected in their studio-homes, featuring Syrian tiles, William Morris prints, sculpture, blue and white ceramics, and their own artworks.

Currently celebrating 100 Years of Leighton House as a public museum, experience a diverse programme of exhibitions featuring contemporary artists in dialogue with the historic house.
